About Morning Glory Gourmet
OUR STORY
The pre-cursor to Morning glory was started all the way back in 1986when a business called Bakery Fare was born. Bakery Fare was known as a "jobber" business. We had 3 trucks and would travel every night to 15 different bakeries picking up goodies and delivering them to restaurants, cafe's and hospitals throughout the 3 county area In 1990 bakery fare was sold in order to open up a wholesale bakery in a tiny little spot in Norristown....now we were the bakery guys instead of the delivery guys!
We baked only 5 things...apple cakes, muffins, scones, brownies and sticky buns. We baked so much that people would ask all the time where can we buy these retail? so we decided to move to Conshohocken and open up our retail store in 1993. We remained a bakery only until1998 when we added fresh made sandwiches and salads! By the time 2007 rolled around we decided to sell the business and return to our wholesale roots. continuing to sell wholesale and now setting up shop in Spring City Pa. where we are now.
We will now sell our items retail ...so give us a call and we''ll bake it fresh for you with a days notice for pick up in our shop in Spring City!
